A fine reading. I too am a fan of Lorenzo's poetry -- and criticism. It is worthwhile to also note his major ciritical-historical work, _Extraordinary Measures: Afrocentric Modernism and Twentieth-Century American Poetry_ (University of Alabama Press, 2000).
