This makes a strong case for why clarity needn't be poetry's prime virtue (or any virtue at all), but why Youn's book serves as a pretext for such a discussion escapes me. I guess your reviewer just wanted to get some things off his chest. I've heard nobody but him opine that this book lacks "clarity"; most seem to find it just sort of dull.
